Possession of Drugs and Prescribed Equipment

If you are found by Police to have a controlled substance or drug in your possession (except for a simple offence), you may be guilty of an offence. Furthermore, it can also be an offence to possess equipment that can be linked to the smoking, consumption or administration of a controlled substance or drug.

In these instances, there is a range of defences our team of experienced lawyers can talk you through, as well as the knowledge to help you plead guilty and negotiate a lesser charge.

Penalties for this charge: If found guilty, you may face a maximum penalty of 2 years in prison and/ or a maximum fine of $2000.
